Who is Sukey Molloy?
Sukey Molloy is a developmental movement educator, and award winning recording artist of children's music, movement and song. She is founder and creator of the PlayMove&Sing program based in Nyack, NY. She has been creating and teaching movement programs for children since 1985, and performs for early childhood audiences with her very own Circle Song Band! Sukey gives teacher training workshops for early childhood educators, teaches mommy & me and pre-school classes for infants, toddlers and early childhood learners in movement song and play, and teaches a course in sensory-motor learning for parents and classroom educators. She is certified with the IAIM to teach classes in guided infant touch, and received her developmental movement training with Dr. Garland O'Quinn, Jr., founder of the Association for Kinesensory Teaching, and Developmental Gymnastics International. Sukey draws from her former career as a professional modern dancer with the Solomon's Company Dance in NYC, and as a performing vocalist with chant and choral groups. She has released two award winning children’s music CD’s, performs regularly with her Circle Song Band, and has just completed a new DVD called Sukey's Circle! created specifically for pre-school age children and their families. Who is Nancy Ferst?
Nancy Ferst is Co-Founder of PlayMove&Sing Inc., and is an awesome Manager and Booking Agent for the Circle Song Band! She is a tenured elementary school teacher, and an at-home mother of two. Nancy heads up Product Development for PlayMove&Sing Inc. play materials and is behind the growth and development of the company’s vision.
